Address:Department of  physics,  Hakim  Sabzevari  university ,  P. O. Box 397,  Sabzevar, Iran.

Educations:

Department of Physics, University of Tehran, Tehran (The Capital city of Iran) , Iran.

I received my B.Sc. degree from Tehran university. I began my studies in Particle Physics during the third term of study. I was very interested in the subject so that I attended the quantum field theory and QCD courses by Prof. Golshani when I was an undergraduate student. I also worked on the project entitled “Calculation of cross section of electron + positron → muon + anti-muon using standard model” in collaboration with some other students. We considered all the Feynman diagrams including divergent diagrams and obtained the reguralized amplitude for all of them.

M.Sc.

Department of Physics, Ferdowsi University of Mashad, Mashad, Iran.

I received my M.Sc. degree from Ferdowsi university of Mashad. The title of my thesis was ” q-deformed Weinberg-Salam model and q-deformed Maxwell equations” which was published in [1] (see list of publications). We applied the q-deformation of Yang – Mills theory to the gauge part of the Weinberg-Salam model and showed that the q-deformed Lagrangian involved new interactions such as A-A-A, Z-Z-Z, Z-Z-A, A-A-A-A,….
Using the deformed interaction Lagrangian we obtained the Feynman rules for all vertices. We then obtained q-deformed Maxwell equations from which magnetic monopoles appeared naturally. Later it was shown that the new vertices will also appear if we use noncommutative geometry.

Ph.D.

Courses : Ferdowsi University of Mashad

Thesis: Institute For Research In Fundamental Sciences (IPM) and Helsinki Institute of
physics.

I could take the second rank among 22 participants in the Ph.D. entrance exam. As a Ph.D student i passed some courses on Quantum Field Theory, advanced group theory, general relativity,…. My supervisor was Professor Shahin Rouhani (IPM). My Ph.D. thesis was on quantum groups and noncommutative geometry and their application to different branches of Physics. Professor M. Chaichian invited me to Helsinki institute of physics (HIP) to do some parts of my thesis in HIP.
